LABSA (Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid)

Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid (LABSA) is an anionic surfactant widely used in detergent and cleaning industries. It is a brownish viscous liquid and highly soluble in water. LABSA is produced by sulfonating linear alkyl benzene (LAB) with sulfuric acid or oleum.
